IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, AMEN.
Klemens Poniatowski, Stanisław Albinus, Wacław Wyganowski, Wit Zathboy, Piotr Skarga the ordinary preacher, Krzysztof Stmarzowski, canons, and the entire chapter of the Lviv Metropolitan Church, we announce by the power of this letter to all and each person concerned: That appearing personally before us at the general chapter, the honest Dorota, wife of Stanisław, miller at the mill called Stachierowski, located on the Pełtew River, below the bakers' mill, in the Lviv suburb next to the High Castle, who holds and possesses for life a third measure in the sum of fifty grzywnas of money, having (as she assured) regard for the duties, services, and care for the well-being provided to her by the same Stanisław, her husband, which he has not ceased to provide until this time, wishing to bind him more closely to herself, to him (with the exclusion of all her relatives) the aforementioned sum of fifty grzywnas of money held on the same mill, if she were to pass away from this world first, and not otherwise or in any other way, she donated, recorded, and ceded, just as she donates, records, and cedes from now on, reserving for herself the dominion and ownership of these fifty grzywnas of money for life. As both requested that such a donation, record, and cession be accepted by the chapter, acceding to their requests, we accepted and hereby accept, as far as it should and can be done by law. When this occurred and immediately, the same spouses were persuaded and admonished by us to improve the rent and lease, considering the smallness of the rent and lease of our two measures, and also taking into account the time in which everything is becoming more expensive. They, due to the acceptance of the donation record, in addition to [...] the existing rent of ten grzywnas of money, half a load of wheat flour, and a fattened pig, agreed, namely every year, as long as they live, they will be obliged and compelled to give, weigh, and pay money from the common [...] rye measures, four korzecs, or half-measures of wheat flour, just as they have inscribed and committed themselves to this. If, however, in the duties [...] they worsen the condition for the judges [...] damages after an assessment made by worthy men, the damage will have to be deducted and repaired from the principal sum. In faith and testimony of all and individual these things, the seal of our chapter has been attached to this letter. Done and given in Lviv on the Monday after the nearest Sunday of Reminiscere, in the Year of the Lord one thousand five hundred and sixty-eight, at the general chapter.
