By the grace of God, King of Poland, Grand Duke of Lithuania, Ruthenia, Prussia, Masovia, Samogitia, Livonia, etc., and also hereditary King of the Swedes, Goths, and Wends. We hereby announce by this letter of ours to all and each one individually whom it may concern, present and future, to whom it pertains. That there has been presented before us this parchment letter of our once most illustrious predecessors, a confirmation of the privilege [...] granted and given to the marksmen of our city of Lviv [...]

Reading notes
Parchment document preserved in fairly good condition, writing partially faded at the folds. At the bottom, a plica through which a multi-colored silk cord is threaded, with the preserved, fragmented crown seal of Sigismund III in a wax bowl. On the verso, German regesta from the time of the Austrian partition and the stamp of the Archive of Ancient Records of the City of Lviv.
