Reading notes
Parchment document drawn up in Kraków. King Sigismund III Vasa confirms the guild statutes (articles) of the furriers of the town of Stary Sambor. The parchment bears strong traces of water damage and stains in a vertical strip through the center of the text, causing local blurring and difficulties in reading. The seal has not been preserved (visible holes for the seal cord in the plica). On the verso, numerous chancery and relational annotations from later inspection commissions (including those from 1687 and 1766).
