[P. 2]
Most Gracious Lords and Friends!
Just as my predecessors experienced the favors and kindness of Your Graces, my Lords, so I do not doubt in the least that you will deign to show me the same upon my entry into the Lwów starosty. I have set the ceremony of this act for the 1st of June, for which I humbly entreat Your Graces, my Lords, that you might deign to grace this act with your dignity, not doubting at all in the favor of Your Graces, my Lords, that in this I shall recognize the goodwill of Your Graces, my Lords, which I am ready to earn from Your Graces, my Lords, on every occasion. And now, having commended myself with my humility to the same, I remain.
Given in Świrz, the 22nd of May, 1676.
Your Graces, my Lords', well-wishing friend and ready servant,
Jan Cetner [by his own hand]
[P. 3, address:]
To Their Graces, my Lords the Councilors and all the Citizens of the City of Lwów, my Gracious Lords and Friends, to be delivered.
