[P. 2]
Most Illustrious My Gracious Lord!
The day before yesterday, while visiting me, His Grace Father Mokrski, Canon and Commissioner of Kraków, told me among other things that His Grace Father Gołębowski, a competitor for the Jaworów benefice, has received two incomparably good benefices by the grace of His Grace the Bishop of Kraków: one, the Archdeaconry of Lublin after His Grace Father Karczewski, and the second, by the grace of His Majesty the King, after the same.
[P. 3]
Therefore, hoping in the former promise of Your Grace, my Benefactor, I humbly beseech Your Grace, my Gracious Benefactor, that by the next post you would deign to use your authority so that he might wish to yield that Jaworów benefice to me in the competition and obtain it in my name. It is, moreover, not as profitable as His Grace likely assumes, but simply very convenient for me, given the proximity to Lwów. I will know and be able to serve this favor of Your Grace, my Benefactor, throughout the continuous passage of coming years.
Your Grace's, my Gracious Benefactor,
always well-wishing and humble servant,
Father Archdeacon of Lwów
[P. 4, address:]
To the Most Illustrious Lord and my Benefactor, His Grace Lord Jan of Jabłonów Jabłonowski, Voivode and General of the Ruthenian lands, Starosta of Świecie and Korsuń, my Lord.

Reading notes
The author's signature reads only 'X. Archidyakon Lwowski' – the name Jan Jabłonowski is provided by the archival inventory (in the Ukrainian description, the initial was incorrectly read as 'D.' or 'I.'). There is no date in the document itself; the year 1690 comes from the inventory card (see p. 1). The recipient is Jan Stanisław Jabłonowski (1669–1731, Voivode of Ruthenia from 1697) or Stanisław Jan Jabłonowski (Voivode of Ruthenia in 1664–1682, who used the titles of Voivode and General of the Ruthenian lands). On p. 4, a well-preserved wax seal.
