[P. 2]
Glory to God, in the year 1646, on the 14th of December, in Lublin
Reverend, most honorable, most esteemed, most gracious, highly valued Mr. Heyder, I always send my willing services and friendly greetings to you first. Your gracious letter of the 21st of the last [month] reached me happily on the 24th of the same, from which I learned that you wish for me to pay 170 florins to the Honorable Mr. Czarnoluski for the needs of the city. Which I duly accepted and presented to the aforementioned Mr. Czarnoluski [...], but then he declared that he needed 10 more florins, so he asked that I be willing to give them to him along with the previous ones, that is 170 florins, [as] it will not be displeasing to you, since it will be used for Their needs. To which I could not refuse, so I paid Mr. Czarnoluski 170 florins and, according to your wish, took a receipt, which I send enclosed. This is duly noted for our settlement. He continues to recommend himself to remain faithful in the service of the Gentlemen and to strive for Their good. Likewise, may you make use of my service on all occasions that arise. Awaiting this, I commend you to God's gracious care [...] and remain.
Willing to serve
