[P. 2]
My Greatly Gracious Lord Aknif,
and my Gracious Lord and Friend!
I wish good health to Your Grace, my Lord. Hereby I announce that, according to my letter to Your Grace, my Lord, from Sibiu, I am sending Your Grace thalers [birichtowo], which I am sending to His Grace Lord Mikołaj Michalewicz, so that he may hand them over to Your Grace, my Lord. I greatly request that you collect this thousand thalers, and as for the rest, God willing, once I arrive here at the Jarosław fair, we shall settle accounts according to what is fair. Having announced this, I remain Your Grace, my Lord's
well-wishing friend
and ready to serve,
Mikołaj Michalewicz

Reading notes
Page 1 is an archival inventory card. The letter was sent from Bistrița (in Transylvania), mentioning Sibiu and the Jarosław fair. The author, Mikołaj Michalewicz, writes about sending one thousand thalers via "His Grace Lord Mikołaj Michalewicz" (likely a relative with the same name). On p. 3, traces of a wax seal are preserved.
