[P. 2]
Distinguished and famous sirs, most highly respected with the warmest devotion! Sending most numerous greetings and an expression of sincere and most urgent commendation, I wish Your Graces from God the Best and Highest the most fortunate multiplication of all prosperity for the most numerous years.
I proceed to inform Your Graces, my gracious sirs, that His Grace my lord, the Lord of Kraków, has sent to me so that I might write to Your Graces in His Grace's name, asking as his dear friends for wall hangings, that is, for carpets and wall hangings, whatever there may be. May Your Graces be pleased to know that His Grace is to have great guests with him here in Kamionka for those three days: His Grace the Voivode of Ruthenia, in a word the entire house of Tęczyński and many other worthy guests, and His Grace at this time has no wall hangings prepared at all, for they are on the way. Therefore, I ask Your Graces, my gracious sirs, that Your Graces might serve His Grace in this, which I wish for Your Graces as a true friend and servant, that Your Graces might be pleased to send His Grace as many of these wall hangings as possible for only those three days. And I shall then send them back to Your Graces in the same entirety in which I receive them from Your Graces. I believe and do not doubt that Your Graces will be pleased to do this for His Grace, by which you will greatly win over His Grace. And with this, I urgently commend myself to the virtue of Your Graces. Given in Kamionka, 18 February in the year 1566.
Your Graces' well-wishing friend and humble servant in all things,
Stanisław Ordyniec, Vice-Starosta of Kamionka

Page 1 is the inventory card of the CDIAL. The letter was sent from Kamionka (Strumiłowa), not Kamieniec, as incorrectly stated in the Polish title of the inventory (correct in the Ukrainian description: Камінка, камінківський підстароста). The Vice-Starosta asks for carpets and wall hangings for the Voivode of Kraków (Stanisław Spytko Tarnowski), who is hosting guests, including the Voivode of Ruthenia and the Tęczyński family. On p. 3, a paper-wax signet seal and the date of receipt/registration by the Lwów chancellery are preserved.
