[P. 2] In Zgogów, September 27, 1701 Most Noble Mr. Tyszkowski, My Most Noble Sir and Brother! From the letter of His Grace Mr. Gałęzki, written to me from near Krzemieniec, I read that the Comrades are making claims against us. For God's sake, I would not deny my own hand from theirs! It is true that I have the hiberna of His Grace Mr. Majkowski, His Grace Mr. Wieszczyski, and His Grace Mr. Głuchowski – one hundred zlotys, and for Your Grace also the rest according to the list, while I, according to the assignment of His Grace the Lieutenant and two military decrees, have kept those gentlemen's [funds] with me. Furthermore, sixty-four zlotys remained from the Lieutenant's hiberna, which His Grace Mr. Matasowic was supposed to give to the Jew; if he has not given them, then Your Grace, having collected them, hand them over, and settle accounts thoroughly with His Grace the Lieutenant. His Grace Mr. Głatkowski took too much according to the quarterly receipts, so Your Grace, hand these receipts over to His Grace Mr. Lityński, so that you may collect the rest – ten zlotys, for Your Grace too quickly [P. 3] kept fifty for yourself. I am sending Your Grace the registers and receipts of His Grace the Standard-Bearer and His Grace Mr. Głatkowski for better information. Furthermore, I humbly ask Your Grace to kindly collect the hiberna on my behalf and give sixty-three zlotys from it to His Grace Mr. Szeptycki, twenty zlotys to His Grace Mr. Piotr Dobrowski, and twenty-four to the Scribe, His Grace Mr. Mikulski, so that we may have no more disputes. Calculate, Your Grace, that we have paid for fifty-six horses according to the assignment. I will also be, God willing, in winter with His Grace the Lieutenant, for now I cannot be there by any means. Therefore, commending myself to Your Grace's grace and brotherly affection, I remain Your Grace's sincerely well-wishing brother and humble servant, Jędrzej Osiecki [P. 4] From the company of His Grace Mr. Osiecki, His Grace the Deputy ordered to give His Grace Mr. Szeptycki sixty-four zlotys for the hiberna, as he was a deputy at that time, to which I sign, November 8, 1702. Józef A. Tyszkowski I have received from the assignment of His Grace the Lieutenant for His Grace Mr. Szeptycki from the three-year hiberna sixty-three tynfs, which I am obliged to return, to which I also sign. Jan Siemaszko [P. 5, address:] To His Grace the Most Noble Sir and Brother, His Grace Mr. Jan Tyszkowski, Comrade of the Armored Banner of His Excellency the Crown Standard-Bearer, My Most Noble Sir. To be delivered.
