Most Illustrious and Gracious Sir!
Since [...] first the Zawałów rules and the pledging for these reasons, and Your Illustrious Grace yourself were in Hnilcze. You allocated the areas as to the dimension for Fas[...], hence having soon realized and in other villages I intended to mark them for Your Grace; now I am sending [them] to be noted down from the manor farm and classified. I myself shall arrive on [...].
The engineers sent by the office to Nosów have taken them, Your Illustrious Grace [...], when I received news about them, I will depart for Sadków [...]
[P. 3]
with whom it would be necessary to finish immediately, because Justynowski has already left for Podhajce, and now it will be possible to work.
I also complain that Jabłonowski did not allow me to present the rules to the mandatary. I have therefore prepared for Hnilcze and all other certificates and I will declare where, for these 20 cottages, it is not possible to agree to the cutting off of lands, regarding which I await the decision of Your Illustrious Grace.
[P. 4]
With the most humble respect declaring myself,
Your Illustrious Grace's most humble servant,

Reading notes
The letter concerns land surveying and urbarial regulations (likely within the framework of the so-called Josephine land survey in Galicia). The recipient is unknown by name, addressed as 'Most Illustrious and Gracious Sir'. The inventory card (p. 1) provides the year 1786 and the date '19 листопада'. On p. 4, there is no external postal address (a blank page with a closing formula and signature).
