[P. 2]
From Leżajsk, July 8, 1696
Most Illustrious My Lord Voivode of Volhynia,
My Greatly Gracious Lord and Brother.
Not only do I not hold it against Mr. Olszewski, my skipper, that he took Your Grace's belongings onto my boats, but on the contrary – I consider it a stroke of luck that, even in such a small matter, I could be of service to Your Grace, My Lord. And in order to do Your Grace, My Lord, a greater favor, I have ordered those things to be taken from the boat by my own horses to Lwów, wishing to earn Your Grace's further favor thereby. Offering myself with readiness for all of Your Grace's services, I remain.
I bow humbly to Her Grace the Voivodess and Her Grace the Young Lady.
Your Grace's, My Gracious Lord's, sincerely well-wishing sister and humble servant,
Anna Potocka
[...]
[P. 3] [Address:]
To the Most Illustrious His Grace Lord Jan Jabłonowski, Voivode of Volhynia, my greatly gracious lord and brother, to be delivered.

Reading notes
Page 1 is an archival inventory card. The inventory incorrectly identified the recipient as the Voivode of the Ruthenian lands ("воєводи Руських земель Яблоновського Івана"), whereas in the letter and on the address he is clearly stated as the Voivode of Volhynia (Jan Stanisław Jabłonowski held this office from 1693 to 1697). The use of "brother" and "sister" in magnate correspondence was a courtesy. At the bottom of p. 2, there is an old numbering "O. 59" in pencil.
