Reading notes
Page 4 begins a second, separate letter to the same recipient; p. 5 is its folded wrapper addressed to “Monsieur Arthur Forbes, merchant … Lemberg”. The opening again reads “Moie Wielce Mci Panie Forbes, Mci Panie y Przyjacielu”, while the text and figures are partly illegible. This letter is not joined to the one on p. 2, and dates from the inventory card are not assigned to it.
