Reading notes
Date, place and signature were read from the letter on p. 2; p. 3 is the address to Lviv, not a separate letter. P. 1 is an inventory card. Provisional inventory of later boundaries: p. 4 (separate letter, dated 9 Jan. 1706) + p. 5 wrapper; p. 6 (separate letter, dated 5 Feb. 1706) + p. 7 wrapper; pp. 8–9 (two-page letter, continuation and ending) + p. 10 wrapper; pp. 11–12 (separate letter/continuation, dated at the end 26 Apr. 1706) + p. 13 blank leaf/verso with later note “1708”; p. 14 (separate letter dated 29 Sept. 1707) + p. 15 wrapper. Separate datelines, addresses and pagination support these boundaries; p. 13 is not independent text. The inventory card gives the span 17 Jan. 1705–29 Sept. 1707, consistent with dates at the start and end of the unit, but it was not used to fill in dates of individual letters.
