My Most Gracious Mr. Głogowski,
My Most Gracious Sir and Brother!
As I sympathize with the difficulties of Your Grace, my Gracious Sir, with Her Grace the Cześnikowa, so I kindly wish that God may grant the best possible reconciliation between you. The presence of Your Grace, my Gracious Sir, is not yet needed here, for the case has not yet fallen out of the simple register, and even if it did, it must go to arrest. Therefore, Your Grace, my Gracious Sir, will be notified of the term. Filing a protest was impossible, because the messenger of Your Grace, my Gracious Sir, only came to me today, and on Sunday the chancelleries are closed. However, Your Grace, my Gracious Sir, may make a protest in Chełm or in Grabowiec,
[P. 3]
having fully expressed the essence of the matter, provided that someone sensible writes it, so that there is no criminal description. Default judgments against you, Sirs, exist in all these cases, for which I do not know what defense Your Grace, my Gracious Sir, has, so please inform me about them in advance. I have nothing more to announce, I end here, being
Your Grace, my Gracious Sir's, well-wishing
brother and humble
servant
Franciszek Duchanicz, by his own hand
The case of Mr. Chamiec went as follows [...]: the sub-prefect of Bełz was ordered to pay one hundred [?] to Mr. Brzozowski for the nuisance, for which they gave a guarantee on Sunday with additional revival [...] to the same, one thousand zlotys for the peasant was ordered to be given to Mr. Chamiec, and in other points the castle decree was upheld.
[P. 4, Address:]
To my Most Gracious Sir and Brother,
To His Grace Mr. Mikołaj Głogowski, my Most Gracious Sir, it is due.

Reading notes
Page 1 is an archival inventory card in Ukrainian (signature CDIA of the Ukrainian SSR in Lviv, f. 132, op. 1, spr. 499). According to the inventory, the recipient Mikołaj Głogowski was the Master of the Hunt of Bełz, and the property dispute was with the wife of the Lublin cup-bearer (Ożga). On p. 4, two traces of a wax seal are preserved.
