[P. 2]
Most Illustrious and Gracious Lord Voivode of Volhynia,
My Greatly Gracious Lord, Brother, and Benefactor!
The inevitable Divine judgment has struck my house, causing my husband of blessed memory, my benefactor, to depart from this temporal life and pay the debt of mortality. Through this rigor of inexorable severity, the only comfort has been taken from my heart, the greatest ornament from the entire house, and the special hope for all prosperity and joy from the orphaned offspring. One should moan and drown in tears after such a loss, yet under the command of the work of such an omnipotent hand, faith itself bids one to bear this inconsolable grief as patiently as possible. Cherished memory and duties will live in my heart and be renewed with daily tears as long as my life lasts. And since, as the first proof of preserved affection, I must satisfy the will of the deceased and commit the body to the earth with the proper rite, complying with it – as the place has been designated at the Dominican friars in Lutsk – I have set this ceremony for the 21st of March. I greatly beseech Your Grace, my Lord and Benefactor, that you would deign to grace this act with your presence out of your usual lordly grace and kindness. The reward from heaven is certain, but I, along with the remaining children, will also be in lifelong debt of gratitude, just as I am now
Your Grace's, My Gracious Lord and Benefactor's
humble servant

Reading notes
The Polish inventory description incorrectly interpreted the word 'Małżonek' (husband) as 'marszałek' (marshal); the author writes about the death of her husband. The Ukrainian description correctly notes the death of her husband ('про смерть свойого чоловіка'). Based on the titles held, the recipient is Jan Stanisław Jabłonowski (Voivode of Volhynia from 1697, Starosta of Świecie, Bila Tserkva, and Mościska).
