Translation / modern text
The sender offers condolences on the death of a marshal described as her benefactor and addresses the recipient as a brother. She mentions divine judgment, her grief, and a ceremony planned for 21 March. The remaining text concerns affairs and obligations but is partly illegible. The date line gives 24 February 1697; the place-name is read uncertainly as Zadomysła. The signature may read Anna Zahorowska.

Reading notes
P. 1 is an inventory card and was not used as evidence for date or content. P. 2 contains the letter; p. 3 is a separate cover/address, not another letter. The letter’s own date line is read as “Z Zadomysła d. 24 Februarii 1697”; the place-name is uncertain. The manuscript clearly refers to the death of “J.P. Marszałek Dobrodziej mój” and a ceremony set for 21 March.
