[P. 2]
Noble Sir and Benefactor!
Dukackiewicz will bear witness that he went to several places for the due rent, but achieved nothing. For this reason, I, having nothing from which to pay the servants' food allowance, beg for your grace, that you, my Noble Sir and Benefactor, would deign to advance 100 florins for the food allowance. For this kindness, I shall remain forever bound in due gratitude to your Illustrious Noble Sir and Benefactor.
Your Noble Sir and Benefactor's
most humble servant

Reading notes
The daily date is written in a Latin formula: 'die 7-ma 7bris [Septembris] 1776'. The inventory provides only the day and month without the year. The text mentions the payment of 100 florins (zlotys) for the servants' food allowance; on the reverse, there is a handwritten instruction for payment: 'issue 100 zlotys from the purse in rubles'.
