Translation / modern text
The address panel confirms the Voivode of Ruthenia and Lviv. The personal names and description of a private matter come from the inventory; the French formulas include “Monseigneur” and “avec toute la reconnoissance”.
Original wording — transcription
[s. 2, tekst listu:] „Monseigneur” […] „WMM Panu” […] [pozostały tekst polski odczytany tylko fragmentarycznie].
[s. 3, zakończenie tego samego listu:] „avec toute la reconnoissance” [pisownia odczytana z rękopisu; zakończenie i podpis częściowo nieczytelne].
[s. 4, adresówka:] „A Son Excellence / Monseigneur le pala- / tin de Russie / A Leopole”.
Reading notes
Page 1 is an inventory card; pp. 2–3 are one letter and p. 4 its address panel. “A Leopole” is the destination, not the place of writing. The inventory attributes the letter to Katarzyna Leszczyńska and Jan Jabłonowski and gives 1701; those details are not securely legible in the manuscript.
