Reading notes
All five pages of the scan were examined. Pages 2 and 3 show the text and reverse of the same sheet; the address on the reverse is recorded in the transcription and is not treated as a separate letter. The year 1691 comes from the description on the cover (PDF p. 1), not from a certain reading of the date on this sheet.
