Translation / modern text
The sender refers to an earlier letter and renews his request concerning a matter involving the Dzierżanowskis, asking the recipient for favorable consideration and appropriate action. The surviving notation on the folded sheet points to a recipient in Lwów, possibly someone holding a municipal office; the name and exact office are illegible. Date: 18 February 1757.

Reading notes
The first of two separate letters in the unit. The main text is on PDF pp. 2–3; PDF pp. 4–5 show a notation on the outside/fold of the sheet and an address, not a second copy of the letter. The date, 18 February 1757, is read at the end of the text; the place may read Lwów, but that reading is uncertain. The signature appears to include the surname Dzierżanowski, probably M. Dzierżanowski. The text is difficult to read; the recipient’s name and office and the details of the matter remain uncertain.
