Letter concerning Tomasz Gordon, a citizen of Lviv

[Heading:] Noble and worthy sirs. The sender presents the case of Tomasz Gordon, a citizen of Lviv, and recommends him to the addressees. He writes of Gordon's aspiration to the office of alderman and asks that he be admitted to the college, although this would depart from the customary election procedure. Further details of the argument are partly illegible. The sender promises to defend the addressees’ rights and ends with a formula commending them to God. In Warsaw, 6 February 1689.
