Translation / modern text
The sender addresses the General-in-Chief and writes that a Crown banner should not be stationed in the recipient’s estate. He mentions an order or decision and further action, but the details cannot be read with confidence. The letter pages have no legible date or place. The likely accompanying address leaf names the same high-ranking recipient and identifies the sender as the hetman.

[Data i miejsce:] brak czytelnego zapisu na s. 8–10.

Reading notes
Page 8 has a new salutation and is therefore treated as a separate document from the letter beginning on p. 5. Pages 9–10 are treated as its continuation, although no legible date or full closing survives. Pages 11–12 form a folded, sealed address leaf, probably attached because the recipient matches; its writing is noted separately and is not merged into the letter transcription. Date and place remain null because they could not be read from the letter.
