Renewing my bow now, I offer the due respect, which I wished to fulfill in Your Grace's house together with my nephew, and Your Grace's brother, His Grace the Deputy Chamberlain of Dobrzyń. Now, my Benefactor, I return to my matter, humbly begging that you order this deputy starosta to return the seized horse and rebuke this insolence, especially for the reason that, having become drunk and causing trouble, he not only did not want to return the horse, but also wanted to take a second one against all justice. For I have conducted an investigation that the horse was taken there without any reason. If, to resolve the dispute, it were necessary to go to the banner that was standing so close, satisfaction would be due to the benefactor, the deputy starosta, who greatly [P. 5] burdens Your Grace with pretexts, but I assure you that there is no truth in this.
