A partly legible letter to the mayor and councillors of Lviv. The writer asks for help in a matter connected with judicial or official proceedings and mentions difficulty obtaining justice. The details of the case and the people involved are uncertain. The letter is dated 15 January 1575; the place has not been established.

Reading notes
Page 1 is an inventory cover and was not used to establish the date. The letter occupies pp. 2–3; p. 4 is a folded address sheet with a seal, not a separate letter. The dateline in the text on p. 3 gives 15 January 1575; the word naming the place is uncertain, so the place field is left empty. The legible references to justice and a court do not establish the details of the proceedings.
