Noble Magistrate of Lviv, I receive your kind declaration with gratitude. I return my wishes for the greatest prosperity to the whole capital city and to each of you individually. I assure you that I am ready to repay the favor whenever an opportunity arises.

Życzliwe dla mnie oświadczenie WMM Panów iż, to wdzięcznym odbieram sercem, tak wzajemnie życząc jak najlepszego powodzenia, tak całemu temu Stołecznemu Miastu, jako też każdemu z osobna, w których iż w każdych okazjach, gdy mi się ta podana przysługa zdarzy, upewniając. Jestem.

Reading notes
Leaf 5 was identified as a letter with a date and place. Leaf 6 is addressed to the Lviv magistrate, and leaf 7 contains a short note «To the Noble Magistrate of Lviv ...»; both were treated as elements of the wrapper/circulation of this letter, not as additional letters. Leaf 4 is a separate address leaf accompanying the text on leaf 3. The unit cover gives the span 1766–1767 and six sheets. The signature was reread as Dzieduszycki; the initial appears to be J.
