Translation / modern text
[P. 69]
My dearest Brother,
I was so troubled by the letter of Your Grace, my Lord, that I am intentionally sending Father Wiatowski so that he may learn from Your Grace, my Lord, whether some new misfortune
[P. 71]
has befallen me – and there could be no greater one than the slightest suspicion regarding me. I beg you, if there is anything, help, my Lord, to assure [others] of my honest integrity in this matter. Since mine is not yet here and consequently I know nothing of what he has accomplished, I only
[P. 70]
rejoice that he has served well. I ask Your Grace, my Lord, for the most frequent news regarding the health of Your Grace, my Benefactor, as well as your own prosperity, which I wish you most favorably from my heart. I embrace my dearly beloved Sister and, with a humble bow, remain to both of Their Graces, my Lords [...] your loving sister and humble servant,
Leszczyńska
[P. 72, address:]
To His Excellency
The Voivode
of Volhynia
in Lviv.

Reading notes
The arrangement of pages in the PDF file is disordered relative to the archival pagination and the continuity of the text: the text begins on p. 69 (pencil pagination 46), continues on p. 71 (pencil 47), ends on p. 70, and the address is on p. 72 (pencil 48). The inventory note mentions the date 'July 6', however, the surviving pages of the letter lack a year or day date. The letter is signed with the husband's surname: 'Leszczynska'. The mentioned 'Sister' is the author's sister-in-law, the wife of Jan Jabłonowski.
