[P. 43]
From Lublin, December 10, 1701
My Noble Lord,
I must still remain here, and God knows whether they will not delay the reading of the decree until Monday, as after the disputes held yesterday, the court only today proceeded to read the inquisition. What will come of it for me – it is hard to guess. I expect, however, a decent verdict, as I am innocent. His Grace Mr. Ładgowski will tell you everything, as he is present here. I am rushing from here straight to Warsaw and will wait there for the orders of Your Grace, My Lord, whose
heartfelt loving brother and humble servant I am,
Jan Krasiński of Krasne, Voivode of Płock
[P. 44, address:]
To His Excellency the Voivode of Ruthenia in Lviv
