A partially legible Polish letter to the president of the Lviv Magistracy, dated 22 July 1774. The place, recipient’s personal name, and sender remain unidentified.

Leduchowski sends both addressees wishes for a joyful Easter, extending them to their household and offspring. He asks for information about payment to the army and news from Warsaw. Further fragments concern a regional assembly and other current matters, but their details could not be read with confidence. Dateline: “z Krupy 9 Ap[r.] 1697”.

The inventory attributes this personal letter to Katarzyna Leszczyńska and addresses it to Jan Jabłonowski. The manuscript confirms the recipient’s office (“le palatin de Russie”) and destination of Lviv, while the main text and signature remain only partly legible.

Colonel Libiszewski, acting on behalf of the Voivode of Łęczyca and Starosta of Bełz, asks the Hospodar of Moldavia to keep the warlord Verlan Voloshyn in strict custody in Iași. He presents a list of his crimes (raids, the plundering of Mohyliv, murders, the looting of the nobility from Zamość to Brody) and announces the imminent dispatch of an official requisition from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

David Livingston informs the merchant Arthur Forbes in Mostyska about delivering tribunal summonses to the advocate Cimanowicz in Przemyśl, dispatching a court apparitor to the defendant, and the incurred castle court and messenger expenses.

A young Scottish merchant or clerk, John Livingston, staying in Kraków, writes to the merchant Arthur Forbes in Lviv, humbly apologizing for wasted time and lack of progress in his studies or work, and solemnly promising improvement and faithful service.

Jan Lisowski writes in haste to the Lviv town scribe Wojciech Zimnicki, warmly requesting that when traveling through Lublin to Warsaw, he not bypass his house and give prior notice of his arrival. He also sends regards to Zimnicki's wife and assures him of his good health.

Father Józef Lityński of Malechów refutes an informer's accusations concerning the alleged encroaching upon a public road by the rectory fence, inviting the provisors to conduct an inspection in person; he also intervenes in the case of a boy detained by Michał Kusteski contrary to the manor's orders.

Jerzy Łączyński, Chamberlain of Lwów, thanks the authorities of the city of Lwów for the good wishes delivered by Mr. Czechucki and recommends promptly finalizing the contract for the solidus tax (szelężne, allocated for the renovation of dilapidated Lwów tenement houses) in agreement with the district commissioner before his departure for the commission in Radom.
